After graduating from Cheung Chuk Shan College, Tinka is currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Oxford. Having tried out different activities across various academic disciplines, including humanities, engineering and sciences, she found her interest in biomedical sciences. After realizing her passions, she was able to gain valuable insights from a multitude of competitions and programs, including Searching for Nature Stories, where she was awarded the champion and best oral presentation. She now aspires to work in the field of neurogenetics and help people with their mental struggles. 

As a first-generation university student, Tinka is also concerned with improving access to higher education. Since she was able to benefit from the Project Access mentorship scheme for her university application process, she is now involved with the Hong Kong committee of the organization, which aims to assist and encourage underprivileged students to get into Oxford and Cambridge. She hopes to share the resources she was provided with and the knowledge gained from her experiences with other students, so that everyone has a chance of achieving their own dreams.
